Saints Seek New Director Of Rowing
This week, the University of St Andrews, and Saints Sport, made a promising and deeply committed gesture for the future of the rowing programme at St Andrews. The vacancy advertised for a Director of Rowing, is the first permanent coaching position ever offered for rowing at St Andrews as well as a highly appealing package for the successful applicant. As Eden Boat Club, we would like to officially thank and congratulate the University, Saints Sport and UStABC for realising such an offering and we know that this marks another exciting chapter in the St Andrews story.

Since our first Director in 2014, Iain Rice, the Club has undergone tremendous change, on both a strategic and performance level and this is down to the commitment of many, many individuals, but in particular, our Directors of Rowing. Similarly, despite a relatively short tenure, the impact of our most recent Director, Jordan Stanley, heralded the Club's most successful season to date, with BUCS Gold medals and a Henley Royal Regatta Semi-Final just some of the adrenaline-filled highlights.Â

With global sport facing an uncertain future, rowing at St Andrews continues to push boundaries, raise aspirations and strengthen our pride. The Director shall work alongside a most outstanding team of individuals in the Club as well as within Saints Sport, and lead and be accredited with the future, against-the-odds successes of St Andrews. Please use your contacts and channels to ensure that the vacancy is well publicised and allow the very best individual to be made aware and apply for the position.Â
